Come Visit Us
After completing the application process and determining that we all would like to move forward, we will schedule some virtual introductions and conversations. After that we wll invite you to visit us in person. We have rolling admissions and enroll members on Mondays and Tuesdays throughout the year.
If you’re coming directly from home, wilderness, a program, or anywhere else and have not found an apartment, please ask us about the Guest House.
What to Expect
Getting Here
Portland, Maine, is a two-hour drive from Boston and a 45-minute flight from NYC. We have a small airport right outside of the city center. The airport is 10 minutes from downtown Portland and 12 minutes from us.
The Portland Area
Portland is a little city with a world-class dining scene, magnificent art institutions, a vibrant art culture, and plenty of places to enjoy the scenic rocky coastline and lovely sandy beaches.
The Pine House
We want to provide guests with a natural “Pine House” experience while protecting our members from disruption in their daily programming. While visiting, you can expect to meet with key staff and encounter members as they are available.
